What's the point of the red lipstick in covering tattoos

red lipstick counter acts the undertones from my skin and giving me a better coverage when I use concealer.

Hi! I was just wondering since you're a beauty blogger if you had any opinion on MAC face products. I don't know if I should order a MAC foundation or just buy their full coverage concealer and use my Maybelline FIT ME foundation with it. And if I do choose a Mac foundation, do I get a powder one or a liquid? I've been recommended both. :(

I would suggest MAC foundations since it is a full coverage and you don’t need concealer or any additional product to add on to it. For full coverage: MAC studio fix foundation & MAC prolong wear foundation are good. If you want a semi-coverage then I would suggest MAC matchmaster foundation.

As for being liquid or powder really depends on what kind of skin you have. If you have dry skin then liquid foundation will work best for you. If you have oily/combination then I would prefer using powder. Also, MAC matchmaster will work well on oily/combination skin too.

How to cover up tattoos!

use a red lipstick covering the outlines

pat on a light concealer, using a setting powder

pat on your skin tone concealer, and clean up any mistakes using baby wipes to remove excess concealer

use a fluffy brush and smooth it out with foundation powder.

Useful for cosplay AND if you’re applying for a job that views tattoos as ‘unprofessional’.
